Firm partners David E. Colmenero and Alex J. Pilawski recently authored an article published in the August 2026 issue of the Dallas Bar Association’s Headnotes. The article, titled “High Five in 5: Top Texas Sales Tax Issues in Construction Contracts,” examines five key Texas sales tax issues that can arise in construction contracts, including the distinction between lump-sum and separated contracts, maintenance and repair work and the implications of tax-included contracts among others.
