UPDATE: SECURE 2.0: What You Need to Know

*UPDATE*  President Biden has signed into law the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act. The 4,000+ page Omnibus Spending Bill deploys $1.7T to fund government agencies and the Pentagon for the 2023 fiscal year ending September 30, 2023. As discussed in a prior blog (which can be found here), the Act contains SECURE 2.0, bipartisan legislation which modifies the taxation of qualified plan benefits and is intended to expand access to, and encourage, retirement savings.
