Ms. Chowdhury focuses her practice on Estate Planning and Probate and Income Tax and Business Planning. She counsels individuals and families on developing and implementing estate plans to preserve wealth, achieve long-term objectives, and address the federal tax implications of transferring assets across generations. Her practice includes estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, as well as the preparation of wills, trusts, and estate and gift tax returns.
She also advises owners of closely held and family-owned businesses on entity formation and structuring, succession planning, and tax considerations related to the ownership and transfer of business interests. Her practice often integrates these disciplines, coordinating business succession and estate planning to preserve family wealth across generations.
Ms. Chowdhury earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, where she also earned a Certificate in Estate Planning and served as Chair of the Estate Planning Committee of the Tax Council. She earned her J.D., with honors, from The George Washington University Law School, where she served as an Articles Editor of The George Washington Law Review.
Ms. Chowdhury was admitted to practice in Virginia in 2025.
