Mr. Salehi practices in the areas of Corporate Law, Estate and Gift Tax Litigation, Estate Planning and Probate, Income Tax Litigation, Real Estate, and State Tax Planning and Litigation. He represents individuals, businesses, trusts, and estates in all stages of tax disputes, including examinations with the Internal Revenue Service, Texas Comptroller, administrative appeals, voluntary disclosures, and litigation. Mr. Salehi’s practice also concentrates on Corporate law and Real Estate, including formation and governance issues, contract negotiations, and mergers and acquisition transactions representing both buyers and sellers, lending transactions, and management agreements.
While attending law school, Mr. Salehi was a Tax Legal Intern for the Washington and Lee Tax Clinic and a tax preparer for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance VITA/TCE. He also gained experience as a law clerk for several firms working in the areas of tax and estates, and corporate finance and securities.
Mr. Salehi was admitted to practice in Maryland in 2022 and Texas in 2023.
