Ms. Dorey focuses her practice on commercial and residential real estate matters, drawing on decades of experience representing clients in the acquisition, sale, and development of office buildings, retail projects, and resort properties. She also advises clients in the negotiation and closing of residential real estate transactions, including single-family homes, condominiums, and farm and ranch properties.
Her practice includes negotiating and drafting commercial leases, reviewing and analyzing title matters, and assisting clients with the transfer of real estate interests to and from family limited partnerships, trusts, and estates in connection with comprehensive estate planning strategies.
Known for her practical approach and sound judgment, Ms. Dorey guides complex real estate transactions efficiently from initial structuring through successful closing. In addition to her legal practice, she is a licensed real estate Sales Agent with the Texas Real Estate Commission, providing her with a deep understanding of both the legal and practical aspects of real estate transactions.
Ms. Dorey has been with Meadows Collier since April 1991, and initially practiced civil and federal litigation, and white collar criminal defense. She has been practicing in the real estate area since October 1995.
Ms. Dorey was admitted to practice in Texas in 1991.
